This episode was actually good but the first few minutes were awful, I was like "Did I missed an episode?" and honestly... that was pretty bad, I would have understand if the previous episode had something that connected it to this episode, but going blindly like this almost forced me to check the previous episode in case I missed something.

I any case, what happened today was important because it showed that the Digivices have cleansing powers to some degree, and that more and more Digimons are starting to look for Hiro's help thanks to his dad... does his dad wants to make Hiro a potential bridge between Digimons and Humans?

Either way, I think I'm starting to see a bit of plot... even more now since Espimon will appear again next week, let's hope Ghost Game keeps this momentum... because it would be a shame to waste it all yet again.

I like how you didn't point out this whole episode wound up happening due to a blunder from Hiro where his kindness bit him in the butt.

It was kinda obvious and was already stated in some of the previous comments, I get that Hiro wants to help others, but this was a valuable lesson in which helping others might be completely impossible... especially if it puts the entire party at risk.

Its just kinda bothered me why didn't they activated the ar field when gyukimon scaped from Hiro's bacpack. I guess that would have separated them from the humans

I mean... that might be true, but either it's me inhaling COPIUM or I think I can start to see a faint trace of plot, Digimons are starting to look for Hiro to get some help thanks to his dad, Digivices can connect and cleanse other Digimons, Espimon will appear again next week... either Ghost Game is slowly picking up or this will end up as a huge waste.

I’m kind of hoping that they touch on the Digivice part more. Maybe introduce connectivity with their phones so they can summon more Digimon friends!

I have forsaken the idea of this show having a plot since they just shrugged off gulus / grus gammamon and just have gammamon go ultra without troble

you would think there would be a 2 episode plot about them needing to master / tame gurus to get to canonweissmon but NOPE

If I'm not wrong, I think that it's actually the original episode where the mistake was made, since the katakana says "deeta" . But yeah, the Digimon Reference Book says that Gyukimon is Virus type.

Obvious outcome with Ryudamon slowly but surely losing itself to Gyukimon's impulses... Although, I thought that they'd use Mummymon's help or Thetismon's abilities in order to turn everyone back... I mean, I kind of get that it's like parasitism but still...
I also can't help but think that they did Ryudamon wrong for its first screen time in the anime...

Next time : Someone's making things spiny for fun but why does it look like Gammamon's hiding something ? Espimon will also make an appearance/cameo but I wonder how things will go...

I don't like this episode. The start was shitty and confusing as hell, I don't like the new function of digivice of reverting other digimon back, that sounds weird because digivice are only designed to revert partner digimon not stranger digimons.

And of course, the daily reminder that it's been literally fucking 40 episodes and barely any plot happening, god, such huge potential wasted and I'm bored out of my mind with this show.

For a moment I thought they would add Ryudamon to the team (If I remember well its this digimon that becomes Alphamon's sword)

I legit thought that's what would happen and that turning ryudamon back to normal would just somehow do the same with the other humans

This Digivice is not solely the Holy Device of older seasons like Adventure. Rather than Chosen/Destined Children these are simply Tamers who form a bond with a Digimon after meeting rather than innately being connected. Hiro's father was behind these devices and may have designed them with such functionality in mind.

This ep feels like a cop out, another case where Hiro being too helpful for his own good, despite being warned and he gets away with it again by the end of it all. The digivice new magic function just seems like a scape goat conclusion, they had no rhyme or reason for this theory, I'd understand if they'd seen Hokuto first or had received a message suggesting there was more than meets the eye with the digivice.

Haven't been this disappointed with an ep since Clockmon was allowed to live undeservingly.

I like when Hiro's school friend gets punched a lot. Hate that kid.

An episode where Hiro being too kind for his own good winds up biting him in the butt and Gammamon stepping up to save Ryudamon when Hiro was frozen in fear. Hiro willing to help people out is a good trait but it's obviously just as much a bad trait and he definitely made a stupid decision taking a Gyukimon infected Ryudamon with him.

We apparently have a new function for the Digivice where it can connect to other Digimon to revert them if necessary which was thanks to a theory when Bakumon learned of how the team's Digivice allowed for evolution and reversion. Aside from that, Bakumon eats the parasitic data of Gyukimon that infected everyone and did a favor by altering their memory of the experience. We don't want the whole class start suspecting Hiro and Kyoshiro now would we?

So, Ryudamon was referred to Hiro by Hokuto. Ok that's kind of bad because that means a lot of other Digimon who has sought out Hiro previously may or may not have been told about Hiro via Hokuto meaning Hiro's dad too is someone too kind for his own good. Well aside from the instances where they were referred to Hiro by Clockmon. That would mean it may have been Hokuto who told DarkLizarmon and Saberdramon about BlackTailmon and how he has been delivering things for him to Hiro since the only other person who would know Hiro has met BlackTailmon before aside from our team and Bakumon would be Hokuto.

What Bakumon did was even necessary?
Previous episodes have had WAY WORSE Stuff happen with even hiro's class or the entire city seing it and they just shrugg it off like this supernatural events are just natural

This series has plenty of issues, if you want it to improve, you have to voice your criticisms and hope one of the writers for the show reads it, but I doubt that's ever gonna happen lol
